What Peekframe is
Peekframe catalogs Valorant skins by weapon and by edition, and prices each one in VP with the date we checked. Start with the full Valorant skin catalog, which walks every weapon from the Vandal and Phantom down to knives, and explains the five editions from Select at 875 VP to Ultra at 2,475 VP (checked September 2026).
Dated facts, not hype
Skin prices and stores rotate, and skin policies change, so every figure here carries a check-date and every policy claim points back to Riot's own rules. We are blunt about the things that cost people money: the 14-day refund window and its traps, and the fact that skins are cosmetic-only and cannot be traded or sold.
How we make money
Riot has no affiliate program, so Peekframe earns nothing on the skins themselves. The only affiliate links on the site are for Valorant Points top-up cards, routed through /go/ and itemized in our affiliate disclosure. We never link account sellers or “free VP” generators — both break Riot's rules or are outright scams.
Frequently asked questions
How much do Valorant skins cost?
A single gun skin costs 875 VP for a Select edition, 1,275 for Deluxe, 1,775 for Premium, and roughly 2,175–2,475 for Exclusive and Ultra lines — about $9 to $25 depending on tier (checked September 2026). Melee skins are priced separately, usually around 3,550 VP. Bundles cost more because they package several guns plus a knife and accessories.
Are Valorant skins tradeable or sellable?
No. Valorant skins are account-bound cosmetics — there is no trading of owned items, no marketplace, and no way to sell a skin back for money. Since April 2025 you can gift a friend a freshly bought store skin, but that is a new purchase, not a trade, and you can't gift a skin you already own.
Do Valorant skins affect gameplay?
No — skins are purely cosmetic and never change damage, recoil, or hitboxes. Some higher-tier skins carry unique reload, equip and inspect animations, plus VFX and audio, but that is all presentation. Anyone claiming a skin gives a competitive edge is mistaken.
Can you refund a Valorant skin?
Only if it is a base, unused weapon skin bought within the last 14 days — refunded instantly for VP through Riot's support tool. 'Unused' is strict: taking the skin into any match, or even the practice range, counts as used. Radianite-upgraded skins and whole bundles can't be refunded (verified September 2026; re-check Riot support before relying on it).
How do you get free Valorant skins?
Legitimately through agent contracts, the free Battle Pass and event pass tracks, and Twitch/Prime Gaming drops tied to esports — not through 'free VP generators', which are scams that can get your account banned. Peekframe never links a generator or an account seller (buying accounts violates Riot's Terms of Service).
